"Partial renovation project of a house in the Cortes neighborhood"
The apartment had the particularity of having a very small hallway and kitchen. We thought it appropriate to unify the spaces but at the same time separate them spatially through furniture.
A piece of furniture with two modules, one for hanging coats upon entering and the other for the microwave allowed us to create this feeling of an entryway while simultaneously gaining visual space. The choice of materials in light tones also contributed to the gain in spaciousness. As we wanted to close off the kitchen area from the dining room, we built lacquered wood carpentry in black with panels and glass, lightweight in terms of weight, and with visual permeability to connect the spaces.
